Triathlon as a form of art

It is indeed beautiful.

A beautiful race.
A beautiful trail.
Of movement and focus.
Of grace and precision.
Of determination and hope.

I thought I was the only one who think this way until I find this quote from Steve Profontaine...

"Some people create with words or with music or with a brush and paints. I like to make something beautiful when I run. I like to make people stop and say, 'I've never seen anyone run like that before.' It's more than just a race, it's a style. It's doing something better than anyone else. It's being creative."

My creativity is not with a brush or drawing.  It is on the road.
