Blame

I can blame...

I can blame those who are wrong and say this is their fault.
I can blame my parents for not providing me an adequate childhood.
I can blame my Canadian culture for me being so complacent.
I can blame my affluent society for not concerning about the rest of the world.
I can blame my friends for not being supportive and not empathetic for what I am going through.
I can blame my computer for not working and cannot follow up and be late to reply or not paying a bill.

I can blame..
I can blame..
I can blame...

...and to be honest, of all the fingers pointing...in most cases, the truth is, it is me.  A sincere look at an angry, bitter or upset situation, I can see it is my own heart that is the problem..

When the Bible talks that the heart is the source of all evil thoughts (Matthew 15:19)...

hmm...

What's the fix? The solution is not from me for I am a broken tool.  I need something else to heal me....or at least something to reveal to me of my nature...

Psalm 139:23-24

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.

24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.

Oh I didn't know how much I needed to read the psalm verse until I read it on your blog today. Thanks for your thoughts and verse today. Maybe I will blame this 100% humidity weather on my poor attitude. Lol!!
