Newbie

I have been doing triathlon for four years. After four years of sweating and training, it feels like I am only at the beginning of the sport. There is still a lot of learn and a lot I don't know. That's great. The joy of discovering and exploration.

I got baptise the Sun after I did my first triathlon. Though it is nothing more than conincidence, it is just interesting how one change certain aspect of my life while the other transforms my soul.

And lately, I feel the same thing about being a follower of Jesus. I was sharing with a friend yesterday that back then I didn't know what I was doing. Even right now, I don't know what I am doing. Yet, right now, the thirst to discover and seek is strong.

Hmm...all I can say is that I am a Christian Newbie. To learn and to absorb. To seek and to discover. To explore and to live.

Following Jesus is a dedication and desire to bring fourth the Kingdom of God. It is a calling for a new life and to forgo the old. As Dietrich Bonhoeffer once said, "when Christ calls a man, He bids him come and die."
