As much as I challenge myself to lay everything out on this blog, this post is tough for me to write. Probably partly there is a lot of internal struggle to get this right.
It is much easier to do nothing. Much much easier to sit back and cover it up. I am glad the Holy Spirit is here.
As Jesus said in John 16:5-11:
5"Now I am going to him who sent me, yet none of you asks me, 'Where are you going?' 6Because I have said these things, you are filled with grief. 7But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt[a] in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: 9in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; 10in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.
The Holy Spirit will convict us of sins and righteousness and judgement. I am glad the Counselor is here. I told my brother it is much easier to do nothing. What the HS is convicting him is also convicting me. There is only one Holy Spirit and it will point to one direction.
It will always point to the right thing. And at times, it might not be easy.

Well said, Cliff. To paraphrase and plagiarize: What is right is not always what is easy, and what is easy is not always what is right. Take a true man and a committed Christian to always do the right thing -- the Christlike thing -- in any given circumstance. Good stuff!
